Make their diet about: 25% live gut loaded crickets. 40% canned food. 25% assorted live prey including feeder roaches, earthworms, butterworms, waxworms, mealworms, minnows, snails. As your dragon gets older (about a year from now) you can mix in an occasional soft-boiled egg, thawed mouse, baby birds, small frogs and small crayfish. The other 10% of their diet should be dark leafy greens and edible flowers.b

Your young chinese water dragon is not an object meant to perform in your sick animal snuff-torture film. A)your dragon is too young to eat that, it should be eating insects that are smaller than the space between its eyes. Feeding him things that big will stress his digestive system.
