Nokia E7 ♥ Screen Repair - Replace - Change the LCD (AMOLED) or Touch Screen (Digitizer)

If replacing the touch screen (digitizer) I strongly recommend you get one that comes already in a frame.
If you have one without the frame, you'll need to carefully remove the damaged screen (put sticky tape on it first to stop glass getting everywhere) and then glue the new one back in.

To replace a damaged LCD (AMOLED) or Touch screen (Digitizer) you'll need:
A T4 or T5 (both used in production) Torx star type screwdriver. (search for torx on Google shopping)
A small bladed screwdriver and maybe some tweezers to grab the screws.

If you find the HOME/MENU BUTTON doesn't work after doing this:
Hold the power button down for about 10 seconds or until you feel 3 buzzes, this does a hard reset and sometimes fixes the problem.
If it still doesn't work, try re-flashing the firmware using Nokia Suite.

If you can't get it to respond or switch on you might need to reset the phone by removing the battery for a few seconds, I purchased this phone as faulty because it would not switch on, but was able to fix it by doing this.

@admin _ hey i have a nokia E7, i got the problem regarding the touch issue, my E7 touch stop responding even i didnt drop it anywhere niether got it humid.... a night before i just set an alarm in my phone and the next day the touch stops responding. I usually keep my phone besides my pillow every time i sleep. Although the phone is working absolutely well except the touch. What should I do? shall i replace the touch digitiser or the LCD both ? Also the unlock button stoped wrking .

Its a strange fault, I would try a factory reset or reflashing, I doubt a new digitizer would solve your problem. Flash memory does not last forever, so it might have a faulty block. A reflash might work so its worth trying

Have you tried a hard reset?

Press the Menu Key , Down Volume Key and Camera Key together and press the Power button on the top till the phone vibrates , restarts and goes to Connecting People Logo.restore fac *#7370#
