  • Thanks so much! I just made up my first ten yarn balls, can't wait to try them out!

    For those wondering, I used 3/8" PEX, $2 for 5 feet at Lowe's. Also, I could only find the straight Dr. Slick hair scissors, and while they weren't bad, I can see how the curved ones would help.

  • i wish i used yarnies years ago, i used the yarnies for the first time this summer and hooked more steelhead than I had with any other method. I believe they hold onto it longer compared to a herd corkie where they might bite down, feel the hard cork and spit it. thanks for the great vid, I usually do the double eggloop and tie them in that way, but i like your method! great video!

  • great video it helped me out. i just got into salmon and steelhead fishing this past year. i did pretty good floating wax worms for steelies but i definitely wanna give this a shot.
