  • 00:01 - 00:32 , Saying sorry to you're buddy's that you are hit. Respect.

  • I served in the Marine from 01-05 , in combat for a few tours. But, I can do nothing more than look up and respect these guys soo much. They did much more and were under a hell of a terrible cloud. Sure Iraq is Iraq, but what these men went through, makes me proud to serve for their legacy.,

  • I only wish my grandfather could've been accepted, he was gonna be either one or two things, a paratrooper or an infantry, sad thing is though, they couldn't allow him in because of his bad heart, he tried going back three times. To think of the dedication of the men of america to proudly serve their country is astounding, that in itself is heroic to try and join the army. God bless the men of America

  • I remember a scene with with the actor playing Lewis Nixon (Burger from Sex in the city) talking to Nixon's widow. They were discussing what he was like and how he carried himself. He finished her sentence ..."They carried themselves like Goddamn men."

  • @ruknel hitler

  • I appreciate a lot hearing these stories. Hereabouts we used to ask the older ones: Why did you do that? Why did you fight for a cause you must have known is wrong? - They never gave a consoling answer. Ask these troopers why they did it, they did it for me, for my kids, for everything I love and thanks to them and millions of other brave and galant men and women I can enjoy.

  • @Damnblastify xD -chuckles- Sure that uncle is mighty proud of you. lol And stayed out of the war huh ; ) Thats a laugh stay in your fantasy world boy. Hope your uncle was a better man then you are.

  • My grandpa did the same thing with the tattoo. He didn't think he had a chance in hell of making it back. Really said once you think about it.

  • @Damnblastify you are so dumb, you just said that any man who had never seen action until D-day did not deserve any credit in the war, I wish you would have died instead of Shifty Powers, John W. Martin, and especdially Dick Winters who is even disappointed in his performance! He wishes he could save more men, and if I saw 50% of the men that I trained for almost 2 years die within the first day then I would get loaded and a tattoo as well. You should watch the series cause I knwo you havent plug

  • @jerichotherogue Nope, the truth! My Uncle was away 6 years during the war, was in Italy, Africa and Normandy... My comments are for all the guys that died because you stayed out of the war! Not for the guys that went to Scotland and got a tattoo, listen to their words, they thought the war was just starting! Had been going on for 5 years so FUCK OFF YOU COWARD SHIT!
