  • @alvie2 I guess if you want to consider the people that feed us deadbeats that is your right to say it. I have talked to a lot of farmers in so.cal. they might argue about being called welfare recipients. The subsidies are designed to keep production in the states and not buy overseas commodities and import them. All that most farmers want is a fair return on the millions of dollars they spend in their local area every year. Do you have ANY proof as to how much is given to farmers?

  • @bubbabinberrybad deadbeats as in farmers... (welfare recipients go ahead and try to tell me they don't take that)

No subsidies for anything would make me happy.

  • I noticed everyone that is against ethanol never uses any facts or tell where their info comes from. The media still uses the Stanford study that was done in 1982 when you got 1 gallon of ethanol/bu, now it almost 3 gal/bu. The by-product of ethanol (called distillers dried grain) is a very sought after and cheap livestock feed that makes it possible for cattle feeders to stay in business. Did you know the bulk of the federal money in the Ag Dept goes to deadbeat welfare recipients?

  • ethenol is not efficient at all. just a subcity for the grain farmers that were hurting 5 to 10 years ago. also makes the public think we are supporting renewable energy but they dont know how ineffient it is. for us hog and beef farmers in ontario, it is just making it way to expensive to feed our animals

  • well just hope the tractor doesnt catch on fire...

  • Ethanol is cool and all... but doesn't it take more Diesel fuel to plow, plant, harvest, transport, unload, level, and process the corn into ethanol than it's worth?

just looking at this video in one stage of the entire process, you've got 5 Fuel-hungry machines chasing the corn around. is it really cost effective to make ethanol out of corn?

  • @chevy4life869 lol i was thinking the exact same thing everybody else on here bitching fuck man id just love to drive around in corn lol

  • i would do this job 4 free

  • id get dizy after awhile

  • @OliverFarmsInc27 Actually in Kansas the lower taxes fees that farmers pay are subsidized by the higher taxes & fees paid by others. Ag. in KS hasn't been able to support it's own generation for decades now, much less support the current & next generation of the communities that originally grew up around Ag. when the gas, oil & water well dry up KS is really screwed. No one is speaking the truth to get prepared. The Wsrn 1/2 of KS will be part on the new US outback.
