A tribute to All My Children actress Eileen Herlie who played Myrtle Fargate from 1976-2008. Eileen lived from 1918-2008.

Very well done! What a great tribute! Now both of my "old favorites" from AMC are gone.. Ruth Warwick, and now Eileen Herlie... They just don't make them like this anymore. Rest in Peace Eileen.

Question: Why was Erica had Phoebe's funeral? Phoebe hated Mona and didn't care much for Erica back in the day.

Thank you so much. I loved Myrtle, Eileen did such a great job in the role. If there are any other beloved departed actors/actresses from daytime that you liked please do more tributes like this. This one and the one for Phil Carey (Asa) were beautiful. Thank you again. I miss them both so much, the shows aren't the same without them.

Thank You, I worked on AMC for 10 years and along with everyone else (especially Thorsten/Zach) I adored Eileen Herlie. She was a vital part of the AMC family and is so missed by all. The best memory I have is the Kane family Thanksgiving at the Valley Inn while everyone else is tearing each other apart, Zach and Myrtle watch the circus. With one line Eileen stole the entire show. She was an ACTRESS!
