Sad to see another ABC going this way.The old ABC in Grimsby is awaiting it's fate too although still fully equiped it has been closed since November 2004.I was an employee of ABC many years ago...good memories.

shamefull i used to go there from an early age.Theabc minors on a saterday morning while mum,s did there shoping 200 screeming kids, some snoging in the exit tunnels and ushers turfing them out back to there seats.up on stage when it was your birthday ,i then did my courting here in my teens then later after the re furb my son and his nanna used to go till it shut.i pass it now and think what a shame what a mess it is wonder what its like inside now i know .

Ladder via the projection room opposite the Arc rectifyers (I would'nt mess about in there because its full of mercury). The loft is also accessable via the projection room.

Forget about the place (Doncaster ABC) the owner will sell it eventually and it will get flatened like the rest of the old cinemas. It would cost you that to buy the building. It's not exactly the best looking example unlike the odeon.
