FISCHERSPOONER If you forgot to party hard on Dec. 31, 2002, heres an opportunity to make up for it. Fischerspooner, the art-cabaret so crucial to the electro revival that was once a curio and is now ubiquitous, self-released its third album this year. It makes bubbly pop songs, but thats hardly the point. Rather, the group exists for live performances, which are ornate affairs, often landing on Dionysian chaos or bumbling pretension or both.
