This Duncan/ Strandlof (sp)--- is a nothing. He has used good Marines, plus many other active duty and reserve/guard types. We can piss in the wind about Webb, but; this clown here is a ZERO.

Now the question is: was Jim Webb a Democrat in Vietnam? Can you as an Officer effectively lead in Combat if you are diametrically opposed to the cause your country is fighting for? I could only answer for myself and say NO! While in Iraq, I fully knew and continue to believe that Saddam Hussein, the Baathists, and their Al Qaeda Bed-Fellows were tyrants and could never be negotiated with. So my mission became to force them to exit this planet before they kill anymore innocent people.

@alright4u, Shit, I would have said "You were smart enough to not go to West Point". I am also, a member of the “Dark Side Alumni” (O-Type) and I have only recently been able to tolerate West Point Grads! Plus in a fire fight, insurgents do not really give a shit about what you wear on your ring finger anyways.

@RocketRitch88 If he did that I agree. I am an old fart who was in RVN about the day Webb graduated from the academy. I was not smart enough for west point. Just an Infantry OCS type.

@alright4u, The numbers just do not add up… Being an Iraq War Veteran, I could NEVER in my conscious mind ever degrade the sacrifice of our Service men and women, and be able to sleep well at night. But Webb did it to his own son! You have to be some kind of twisted to be able to do that to your own child.
