Revival - Viva Bobby Joe. New Zealand music - 1969. Hit single peaking at number 14 for Christmas 1969. Cover version of the English band Equals international hit from the same year. The Revival version proved to be the more successful of the two, with the Equals reaching number 19 on the NZ charts. Revival broke up soon after this release and front man Craig Scott went onto a long and very successful solo career with many hits in the seventies, and twice winning the coveted Loxene Golden Disc..
