carlosian2 is Jon's youtube channel. The way Walk in the Woods was recorded reminds me of the spontaneous creative aspect of Spring. It is an on-the-spot improvisation between guitarist Michael Dowdle and myself based on a solo piano version of the song which I had sent to him earlier. We met and improvised together for the first time in the studio in order to capture that first time magic. Im amazed at what happened.

Jon Schmidt is a very good pianist...I like just turning on this playlist and just listening to it while I work, study, or just relax. I would rate and comment on all of the songs, but I think I'll just do that on my favorites.
