The Jang Yong Yeong Guards ceremony is performed regularly outside the palace in Suwon South Korea.
I recorded four of their demonstrations: the Jangchang (long spears), Woldo (moon blade sword with long stick), Kyojeon (swords) and Kwonbeob (unarmed combat).

  • Japanese totally copied korean swordstyles. The way samurai sheathe their swords is really similar

  • @enushisama Yi Yu Song is still of Korean desent regardless of how many Chinese were subordinate to him. Who made you the martial arts police anyway. Why is it your business what Korean Martial Artists do? You should mind you own business.

  • @HDGDisnotfromkendo "The admiral sword" written on the Muyedobotongji.

Ten Chinese whom the Chinese officer 駱尚志 chose as the teacher taught sword art and others to Koreans. Since he was the subordinate of admiral 李如松, it called the admiral sword.

  • @HDGDisnotfromkendo Mr. Mao is not comparing sword art. He compared "the situation".

等韻(dang Un)=Pronunciation of ancient Chinese characters. It was found in the west country.

Chinese ancient books. It was found in Japan.

Chinese lost things was found in other countries. Sword art is also the same.

Mr. Mao called it "the lost Chinese sword art", not called "Korean sword art".

Muye Dobo Tongji (1790) : Comprehensive Illustrated Manual of Martial Arts in Korea

【 It is the official document at Korean Dynasty, written by The Korean King order 】

Archery was the only martial art that had been practiced by Korean soldiers. They have no skills of sword or spear fighting.

Therefore, Koreans began learning sword skills and others from Chinese .
