Many performance tests were done back when the GTS was still new. The viper pretty much smoked everything in its price range and some that cost twice as much in acceleration AND handling. The reason the viper in this video crashed is because the driver braked too hard and locked them up. The problem isn't with the car, it's with the driver just as it usually is. The viper is a VERY unforgiving car. It's capable of great times only as long as the driver is capable of driving it.
