When I read stories on Gloria and Mark's life what what was happening in their relationship at the time for Mark to give Gloria the nod to release this song? Were they not a couple at the time of the accident and just business friends at that time or what? I can't seem to understand what was happening with their relationship up until the accident. Can somebody share information?

When this song was played on our soul station I bought it in Spring/Summer of 1978. I remember I played this song over and ovrer again. I don't know why I was drawn to this song but for some reason it had the sound of the 60s mixed with the 70s. Now I know the reason behind this song and its still my all time favorite.

Heard this song last week for the first time due to a fantastic compilation cd series "disco discharge". I felt for it instantly...really tears in my eyes..everytime is listen to it. Its soooooo beautiful and touching and sensitive.
