The first episode in our Cold Process series covers Lye safety and the most common ingredients used to make Cold Process Soap. Since Lye can be a dangerous and caustic chemical, Anne-Marie has devoted an entire episode to the safety precautions and proper use of Lye. She also covers some of her favorite ingredients and their properties in soap.

In future episodes Anne-Marie will explain the process of saponification and other important terms as well as how to use fragrances and colorants. After watching the first 4 episodes of our 'How to Make Cold Process' series you will be prepared to make your first successful and safe batch of soap! Can't wait? then check out her Cold Process DVD here http://www.brambleberry.com/Learn-To-...
