Solar Panels installed to the Gride Tie Inverter saving me electric! -update
I just hooked up my solar panels in low light and already its producing power that is going back into my home electric saving me money.
It looks like this gridtie inverter works well paired with my solar panels.

are the panels 12V or 24V panels? and if you don't mind, can you tell me how they are wired to the inverter? series? parallel? etc.

@deanlisenby These panels are 20V and it runs parallel. The range on the inverter is 14-28V so im in good shape there.

Why jump all over someone trying to show possible ways to save a buck, as for all the certifications that depends on were your located, most places do not require certifications . Almost all grid ties come with island protection for power outages and if your worried about fires from China made products take a good look around in your home, call your local fire dept. ask them how many tv fires they have had. Before threatning someone know what your talking about!

let me ask you a question did you install according to nec rules, whats the wave form look like, whats the power factor,has it got true island protection, is it UL certified and CE certified

If you dont know the answers to these questions you are probably connected to the grid illegally the power jack inverter from CHINA is known to cause house fires and electrocute linemen working on the power lines

either take your video down or I will flag it, these are dangerous or call your power company

Pete, do you have any numbers on the energy input into the grid? Do you have any hard numbers from your power meter when you are running the Grid-Tie-In versus when you don't? I am hearing different opinions about these devices.

Something is not quite right here. If you are tied into anything it is one circuit of an entire house and that's not going to save anyone squat.

Why is it so damn hard to find out any real info on solar or wind power? I am not spending all that money on an inverter if all I am going to run is one circuit.

nice!! official numbers on solar power are faked. the profit is much higher. market massively manipulated. or at least in europe. about 2 y ago shell sold all their couple hundred solar companies in one go. i read many complaints of farmers about energy companies trying to fukup the solar panel business for them. nuclear power is being plugged everywhere. nice for the waepon industry and cancer profit at home. nuclear power is one of their main things, we gotta kill it.

Hey what i did was in the bathroom i wired a solar led movement detector light with built in battery . it was cheep at harbor freight . where i got my 3 45 wat solar sets. with the light i hung the panel in the window with suck cups. mounted the rest above the window.

what ever happened to your HHO generator? is it still in your car? are you still selling them on ebay? you should switch your lights over to LED they are much more cheaper to use, i am in the process of making my own LED lights to run off solar power, I bought a hanging tent light at walmart and got a couple of those walkway solar lights and i am converting the solar panels to run the hanging tent light , it has 24 led and is very very bright.
