@nincubus07 not sure. I like Soundforge but I haven't used an audio editor outside of this one and Recycle in a long time.

thx so much for tutor, i have a quick question, after yo assign all the pads, how do you make em all monophonic, like when i hit 1 key it mutes another key thats playin.

@liuboren1992 depends on the sampler. Most of the time its as simple as turning the polyphony on the sampler down to 1. With Kong you have to set up mute groups or set each pad to mono phonic. I usually just set the pads to monophonic

Audacity is good too if you dont have Sound Forge or Recycle...only thing wit Audacity is, it takes a lil longer, and u have to manually edit, I use it cuz i dont have the other 2

@breeeza31 I used to use audacity back in the day. It works really well but its annoying at the same time. My favorite external editors were soundforge, cool edit pro (now its called adobe audition or something like that), and the one in Reason.
