@mutizen99 bloodline305 was correct. The A380 went to different airports around the world to see if those airports could handle an aircraft that size. Among the many areas that were of a concern were the runway length, tarmac spacing, etc. and it gave those airports that needed improvements to make those changes.
Well, Airbus A380 is the largest aircraft and it supersede the long time queen of the skies Boeing 747. Since its Singapore airlines that acquired this plane first hand I think its just fitting that Airbus tested NAIA after all Singapore airlines may consider serving manila with its A380 Naturally its also publicity as I said its a super jumbo airplane.

@brille2363 the largest aircraft is Antonov An-255, it's a shuttle aircraft carrier, tho its not a passenger aircraft,
