Sorry I flinched -- the sheer power of and feeling of each explosion was that emotional. Not like an actual physical push, but instant and true awe at the witnessing of great power, sheer implosion, and being present for the End of an Era.

This video, though nice, cannot begin to do justice to the feeling of being there in person. Every explosion moved you, caused your heart to swell and your eyes to water. There were many weeping in a bittersweet shock; I was one of them.
Thanks to Christopher Lyle and Suzo Frazier for sticking it out in the cold as early as midnight with me to get this prime location, and Jordan Dixon for getting there when he did.
