  • Fantastic!! I'm a huge fan of Charlie Adams and his music, he is just mighty, he really knew how to sing and to put this incredible Arctic energy into his music! What's the name of the song, and which album is it from? Never heard it before. I have 2 his CD's, Inuit and Indians and Quviasupunga.

    Hi There,

From Croatia, wow! Did you know Charlie? It sounds like you live north now. I was friends with him & his family when I lived in Inukjuak in the 80's. What cd's do you have of his. I'll look up the name of that song for you. Julie

  • @julieannschroeder Do you maybe know of some place, or someone, who still have Inukshuk Records cd's for sale? Where they still can be found, if they can?

  • @julieannschroeder And Charlie Adams is definitely a true example of all this!! I have 2 his CD's, Quviasupunga and Inuit & Indians, and these two are definitely the best albums i've ever heard! I know he recorded some more albums before these two, but i have no idea how to find them. It is also my goal to find and collect all Inukshuk Records cd's, but it seems they all disappeared - i had great luck finding these 2 Charlie Adams' cd's (on amazon), but they are all gone now.

  • @julieannschroeder Yes - from that small european country! Unfortunately i still live there...i don't have the money for travelling, not to mention moving away to Canada even though i hope it will happen some day.

I discovered Inuit music here on youtube - after years of enjoying and collecting Newfoundland / Labrador music. Inuit music amazed me, enchanted me completely. It's brilliant! Everything - the melodies, style, great musicians' talents and beautiful language.

  • Also, do you maybe know if, or where, Inukshuk Records CD's can still be found? Is there any place/anyone who still sells them? My goal is to collect all Inukshuk Records cd's, and i am stuck because i can't find them anywhere anymore. By the way, i am from Croatia.

I'd greatly appreciate any help!! Thanks!
