@wishihadalife90 1/4 inch craft foam available from most craft stores and even Walmart. Any foam type material will work if you glue multiple layers together. Don't worry too much about how it looks to you because that is secondary to how it looks to the fish. The profile and sound it makes is what attract the bass. This particular fly just happen to turn out pretty nice looking and it worked really good too!

@b3astlyairs0ft3r98 the vice is so cheap it doesn't even have a name other then made in India.. Black and chartreuse make for a great combination..

@isosexy123 I bought the vice from a little sports shop here in Bryan Texas but I'd bet you can find something similar online..
