Thanks for the video. Why didn't you try synchronous detection on the pl-660? I've had one of those for over a year now and they are a good radio, especially for the price, plus it has SSB, Longwave and Aircraft band. Cheers, from Australia.

I bought a Grundig s450 dlx a while back and like it with the exception of the hum and interference that the supplied a/c power cube causes, it is good on batteries, but has no ssb
For 99 bucks it was a keeper. Good video, thanks for the info
