Courtesy Zettl Research Group, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and University of California at Berkeley. Basically its a carbon nanotube 500 NANOMETERS long(that 10x shorter than a blood cell) that picks up carrier signals and transmits the current/music mechanically (through its vibrations) into a speaker that you can hear. This has unlimited applications in future entertainment technology, medicine, and many other fields. This is the TRUE beginning of nanotechnology.
