You tie your mask in one of the traditional ways, I was reading a book by Masaaki Hatsumi, and it gives the same instructions

I like the way you tied the bottom over the top piece to secure it!
Thumbs up.

@mmacconn069 i'm joking.......but seriously i have a camo ninja suit. with a mask and a hood to go over the mask. the mask fits on just like a balaclava but the hood has a string that needs to be tied whilst wearing. i can't figure out the correct way to tie it! plz help...it would be much appreciated :)

Thanks. Just what I needed for school and halloween. I was trying to figure out a better way to wear a mask with some of my old black t-shirts. Once again, thanks for the vid.*Bow*

'if your wearing it for halloween it's not a big deal'' what if your wearing to stealth kill someone?

@shakorababora The point was more to the effect if you were trying for a Halloween costume vs a historical performance/movie/reenactment, etc. I wasn't condoning using it to kill anyone.

so many good ways. i use one long piece that wraps around and i have a old tutorial on it. i like this one too. my teacher ralph sever sensei says it is like this but two squares and then after you tie it like you did. each one sepearate. you tie the two together on a final knot. but he says the ears and nose should stick out even if it dont look cool. cause you can smell and hear better. he send me a pic of it once and it looks like this but under nostrils and ears out.

@MOUNTAINOUS Yep, I've seen those methods too and all are good. I just prefer this as it leaves less of my face to get exposed to the elements, insects, small scratches, scrapes and the like from branches, grass, weapons, air-soft pellets and my ears are rather distinctive so I might be identifiable by them ;p
