if you are a true fan of pentagram then u should support whatever exposure(cover or not) they receive. i never heard of them nor this song and would probably never if it wasn't for the genius collaboration of allison mossheart and jack white. why do some overexcited fans act out like clingy, possesive junior high girlfriends??? music is for all.

I heard about this cover awhile back and I'm just checking it out. It's not too bad but I may have some bias because I knew Alison circa Discount when I lived in Vero Beach, I hung w/ the metal/punk kids that supported DIY shows and she never seemed remotely interested in anything heavy then, she was all J Church/ Fugazi, we felt that her and her friends kind of looked down on us scenewise. Maybe she's changed, we all do, but for me its a bit odd seeing her cover this...

word, i wouldnt say that i am a fan of this band at all but they have good taste in tunes and pulled off a pretty good version of this song (except i hate female vocals). They havent butchered Pentagram quite as bad as Hank III has anyways.

you guys make me fucking laugh. dead weather covered this song and you dont like it. thats okay, just dont listen to it. go cry to your mom about how the dead weather ruined this song! we are all still gonna listen to this cover with volume turned as high as possible! dead weather are a band that covered a band you live for, respect them for that.
