  • the suway is not a light rail vehicle

  • That may be a debatable point. In researching this, I found definitions and categorisations vary. I probably could have titled it 'electric rail systems' to avoid the issue of semantics. I called the subway 'light' in differentiation from the Go trains.

The subway is a rapid transit line.

Light Rails are a mix of streetcar and rapid transit. They are usually not grade separated.

    GO is a commuter rail.

  • @cumberj001 No one said it opened in '63. The video said "The city's first two downtown subway lines opened in 1954 and 1963", which is true. The Yonge line opened in 1954 and the University line opened in 1963.

  • The Bloor Danforth Line Opened in 1966 not '63.

  • stil a good vid

  • the Go train is commuter rail. light rail vehichle usually refers to trams running seperate from cars.
