  • Thank you very much...but how do you detune your base edge??

  • @monkey298

Detuning reduces sharpness at the corner where the two edges meet. You may not need to detune on your skis or snowboards, depending on what type of snow or activity. Check out our weblog for more tips and techniques. Regarding detuning, see 'Is Detuning Passe'

  • great demo ! one of the best I have seen

  • Leave to the kids to keep it simple and pay attention to what really matters. :-)

  • thanks, so easy a kid could do it..

  • Outstanding!

And thanks for the tip discriminating against the files! Your absolutely right, files are good only with old, rusty and badly treated skis.

    Keep going

  • thank you - very complete and clear

I wish i had an dad that showed me things like this - to make my life easier, and to learn to take these lessons into other areas of my life.

be a mentor to your kids - and others too, if you have the time.

don't let them re-invent the wheel.

show them how its done, if you know how.

save them some time and headache
