There can be explosion bomb (which knocks you away), poison arrow (which I believe is what I jumped from the chest), confusion arrow (makes you confuse) and freeze trap (freeze you making you an easy target for ambush attack by enemies).

WTF? That music is not crap! It's the VP2 boss battle theme. You need to watch a boss vid with the boss music playing, it really fits the atmosphere and is very cool. :D I love both the regular enemy and boss music.

wait wait wait...the first battle was VP1 Theme...the second battle was some...crappy...w.e that was..is it random? and what about the boss battles? VP1 Boss music was the best! whats it like in this one?

If you count the queenie, yes, star ocean does recycle music, but thats purely novelty

yes, there are 6 types of traps in the game & arrow traps make you jump vertical to avoid them. uggh :(

Yes, there are a number of traps that can appear from T.S. I usually jump away no matter what, because dealing with them is stupid. Nice way to catch your characters off guard. btw, the BradyGames strategy guide is a total POS. 157 pages of poor strategy :|
