Jellyfish Mating Season in Monterey

like it says, it was mating season and there were thousands of jellies int he harbor. i was smart enough and brave to play with them without getting stung or however you would like to say it. they are so soft, almost feels like a slime but its just how smooth they are. do not try this! as it is very dangerous and could result in hospitalization. comparing the big one to something would be like comparing it to a basketball. it was around that size and obvious shape. the others were only mostly between 4-6 inches wide but a few like that one were huge.

@ritchie395 haha yea, i was hesitant at first but i had a friend that is really knowledgeable in marine life that said just dont touch the tentacles or stingers. the main body was ok for these but i dont promote doing this blindly. haha knowledge helps. they are really soft like a stingray. *thumbs up*
