  • WTF i love borderlands but your can have your opinion

  • what the fuck

  • Ya thats exacally what i think of the game, the combat can be VERY boring, i hate killing monsters i like killing bandits, but i hate the midgets, but i found it very dry looking like Fallout 3 which is BAD becuz i didnt like that game, but it was very fun to play with a frend or 2 :)

  • You obviously haven't played co-op, if you actually have any friends. I command you to pop the disk back in, and play co-op with 3 other friends. THEN you will realize how shallow this short, silly, simple-minded review was, and you would take it down, and make another, and give it something in the 8.5-9.5 range.

  • From GAZ:

My favourite RPG is probably Fallout 3, but I have very little interest in that genre. My favourite FPS is HL2 by a country mile.

  • Weapons: A valid point. Early on, the weapons are conventional and boring for the most part. At the high end, everyone wants the few most elite weapons. So much for weapon variety we saw in the concept hype.

Enemies: Too many Skag. Not enough anything else. And Bandits (yawn). Later on in the game there are new enemies, but not enough types. Agree.

So, tell us, what is your favorite RPG? What is your favorite FPS?

  • From GAZ:

I don't want to come across as insulting but I'm also going to be brutally honest. Basically the FPS aspects would have been enough to keep me interested for longer had the weapons been more interesting and the majority of enemies a bit less piss-weak. In vice-versa the RPG did nothing but restrain me from enjoying myself even further. Ultimately I gained little from the experience, but hey, that's just me.

  • Depends on what you are looking for. RPG appeals to me less and less so I like the treatment here, bit of humor and otherwise RPG stays out of your way. Me, I just want to go out and shoot stuff.

Borderlands is in the first person Diablo genre, and also has noticeable similarities to Hellgate London. Borderlands needed some subway tunnels IMHO!

Perhaps Mass Effect 2 will appeal to you more.
