It looks pleasant (a bit crowded), but few seem to swim much. OK, waves looked a bit rough, but it's the Atlantic, not a pond in Iowa! How is shark situation?
It looked terribly overcast & foggy! Is this usual in summer?
PS I saw southern rural Delaware regarding inland farmland, but never saw the shore; weather was rainy/snowy in Dec. I just wanted to see this spot in summer.
Thanks for a nice family view! Glad it's mostly whites on this beach, as I suspected, unlike my old Detroit region.

whatd u think about hte boardwalk and area compared to the major beaches along the east coast (VA beach, myrtle, ocean city, etc) ? would u recommend this place for a honeymoon? thx

Was there on 8 August 2011. Loved swimming in the ocean close to dolphins! Also loved riding the waves into the shore on my boogie board. Didn't like the crowd, but the perfect weather helped make up for it. Everyone should go to this beach at least once before they pass. If you are averse to people, noise, and long waits at popular restaurants, go during the week as it was packed on the weekend.
