Perhaps you should do it for every single strike for more damage/style.

my air combos r good except i never go off screen. i always jump away and pull em back thats how i do mine.

instant reving is kinda hard to pull off epecially the 4 slash combo where he slices in circles. ive gone up to the 3rd slash which is circle across. for the regular 4 combo i can do all the revs. ive done instant rev on the stinger, and the upwards one but havent tried on the downwards yet. theres a pattern and timing of the revs. rev slashes do 1.5 times regular damage and gets your ranking faster so ima use that when game comes out.

You should try just-reving more, especially on those helm breakers (downward smash)
