The DRL Bypass will simply eliminate the DRL's. Therefore, no flickering is present when running HID's. The DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness is completely 100% Plug & Play and requires no splicing whatsoever with the OEM wiring, thus saving you from any warranty issues and/or headaches. With the bypass properly installed, all lights will assume normal function:

Position 0 - All lights OFF, DRL's OFF
Position 1 - Parking lights ON, DRL's OFF
Position 2 - Low beams ON, Parking lights ON

***This DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness has also been tested & confirmed to work 100% with OEM STOCK lights.

*Vehicle Compatibility:
2008-2010 Lancer including all models: DE, ES, ES Sport, GTS, RA, Evo X (ONLY non-SSS halogen headlights)
2005-2010 Outlander ES, LS, XLS
2006-2007 Galant

  • how much were these and where did you get them?

  • @skiersarefags Check out the link in the description.

  • I have HIDs on my Lancer GTS too from DDMTuning also with the DRL bypass and everything works perfect but there is no cut-off line and there is some glare, but when I put the stock halogens in there is a cut-off line, anyone else have this issue?

  • @MitchDaSnitch Because the headlight reflector is designed for the Halogens, installing HID's will evidently produce more light intensity and scattered light. You can reduce the glare by lowering the alignment of your Low Beams.

  • @heymynameisjae Oh ok I got you, thanks for the info, the funny thing is when I installed the HIDs, I had to adjust the driver's headlight beam because it was too low and to the right compared to the passenger side headlight, it took forever but I finally aligned it evenly with the other one

  • @MitchDaSnitch Hmm. I would also make sure that the HID Bulb is also seated properly & securely--Just as an extra check.

  • @heymynameisjae Yup I did that as well, and I saw that the driver's HID bulb doesn't fasten all the way like the passenger one does, I thought that it might be a defect so I switched the bulbs but it's the same,so I just tightened it as much as it could so it doesn't become loose and just aligned it with the other one.

  • @jsgonzales1515 I had my headlights retrofitted with TSX Projectors. No power mods on the RA except cat-back exhaust. Plenty invested in suspension though. :)

  • Where did the actual headlight housings come from? Any other nods on the RA I'm sitting just below 280 hp just curious, trying to hit 300 on stock turbo.

  • @lancernut Yes, my DRL Bypass will do just that! =D
