Ableton Live 8.1 + Bomes 1.7 Beta 4 + Akai APC40

Hi all, a few users were experiencing problems with the latest versions of Bomes and Live due to midi feedback loops, in addition Windows users were getting some interesting error messages....

Florian at Bomes has updated the software to remove these challenges and i've streamlined the template and preset to avoid any future problems and allow everyone to adapt the set to their own needs.....

The functionality described in the other videos is still available bar the looper (i've had enough of corrupted sets due to the "Not enough memory" issue)

The Reaktor dummy clips are still in there although you'll need the VST version and will have to place it in the set yourself as i sold mine to buy Max.....

This video shows how to get the template up and working step by step working with the files as supplied...

If you've just skinted yourself upgrading to Live 8 and buying an APC40 then give the trial of Bomes a try as the template will work with that to give a taste of what it can do (give it twenty minutes and i'm convinced you'll see it's worth every penny!)..... I'm happy to point out where you can make changes to suit your own needs but given it's taken me a fair few months to get the template at this point i'm gonna leave it to the people using it live to take it to the next level.....

WTF is Bomes?! I don't see why it's going to make my setup any sweeter. I'm running Live 8 with an APC40.

Bomes translates the midi messages from the apc giving you loads more functionality, if you've got it running sweet already, good work....

@S4racen dn't give up dude, i have only used this for 1 year and allready been entered to 2 world wide comps for my school, im only in yr nine but hey this channel was at the start at yr eight if i've got these comps after a year, then after 14 theres some bigger stuff waiting for u out there ;)

@bohonkas I know this is 11 months late and you've prolly realized this yourself, but Ableton alone is actually fairly limited once you start doing really specific things. Bomes gives you a whole lot more potential to customize the MIDI messages not only between the APC and Ableton but any other program/device that uses MIDI.
