A fire broke out in an apartment building on Cortelyou Road and East 22nd Street, Sunday morning. The Fire started on the 4th floor, but spread to the floors above. When the FDNY arrived there were many people on the fire escapes -- escaping from the smoke and flames in time. Thankfully no one was killed, but there were approximately 9 people injured. Most of the injuries were minor, including three firefighters who suffered minor injuries.
