the pads help... although there are weak spots... and if you get up quick after them it's adrenaline or a sense of duty... sometimes it's hard to stop sliding...so the boards can be useful... but hit them the wrong way and it hurts... his fall here doesn't look sooo healthy but not the worst either. they get used to it...it's like a reaction that doesn't require thought...you're down, you get up...

you are the moron here champ, freesk8 is right, how often do you skate a full lap at top speed around both nets? Never, or else your not playing your position, and this is the same as short track speed skating, which freesk8 clearly pointed out, and they are competing, making it a race, therefore, IF HE IS RACING HE SHOULD WEAR SPEED SKATES
