This song is from the Dutch movie
"The girl with the blue Hat" made in
1935.
Lou Bandy, who sings this song in the movie, played a leading part in it.
Truus van Aalten who played "The girl with the blue Hat" was famous because of her roles in silent and early sound-
movies in Germany.
Her co-star in this film, Dutch actor
Roland Varno, was also wellknown in Germany. One of his first roles he played opposite Marlene Dietrich in
"Der Blaue Engel" ("The Blue Angel"),
and later on he imegrated to the USA, and even played with Greta Garbo in an movie.
For Truus van Aalten it was the only
film she ever made in Holland.
