  • Great TV. Was this a flea market find?

  • @Bartstarrr15 Ebay :)

  • This MIB Portacolor ran about $160. I have a 1976 Portacolor ran me about $130 as well.

  • Nice!! I hope that TV lasts for years!

  • @eskiewolf76 It has been in the box since I've moved 2 years ago.

I will keep it mint. Though I will take it out and power it up once every so often to keep the original capacitors formed.

  • Thats a nice TV!

Does it have composite video input?

  • No it doesn't.

Just 300 ohm twin lead inputs for VHF and UHF.

  • nice. i have a portacolor that is from i think either 1968 or 1974 but it works still beautiful. suprisingly i found out they made these sets untill atleast 1980 because of the cost and they were all tubes minus 1 transistor in the uhf tuner. keep it looking nice. though it uses compactrons(last attempt to use tubes in mass produced goods) its still a tube set:)

  • Widescreen!!!

  • @Tonklimak maybe it was me...see my page for MY porta-color...it's for sale! 1st 100.00 takes it! ALL original...MINT & works like NEW! I'm MOVING on the 3rd, though, so if u want it, I need to hear from you ASAP! :)
