This video rocks !!! Its funny you started off at the Race Trac gas station. When you were there I was over near the bridge getting shots. I must have just missed you. You got some awesome shots starting at 4:20 to the end. I will add the Gas Station scene as a video response. Soon I will be re-editing and uploading the gas station scene in higher quality. I should have this uploaded in about 2 weeks.

Great shots Rob! I always wondered what the winds looked like at that Mc Donalds I saw a few minutes after we did our damage survey. Those scud clouds were moving by so fast.

I entirely concur with everything Mike just said. Also, just the motion of some of the projectiles is fascinating as well.

Absolutely AMAZING, Rob!!! I can't believe you started out at the same Race Trac station as Mike Theiss?!? That cloud motion between 1:45 and 2:00 is crazy! That roofing material peeling off at 2:41 is amazing...but that gust at 4:25 and the winds between 5:20 and 7:00 are INCREDIBLE!!! And the onset of the eye is so rapid... it's crazy!

I have seen the gas station footage before. I figured that place would go nicely. I was afraid of the plywood that was bouncing around on the front of the store.

I always loved the point where the sheet of plywood went spinning up and over the apartment building around 7:00. The status of the palm to the right of the building is also fun to note. Somehow that one frond managed to hold on.
