  • If they're so peaceful, why are there so many groups? They've been reading the same bible for generations; are you saying that they can't negotiate and coompromise their way to one church? And please, being lectured by the Religion of Peace for not being pacifist is either willfull stupidity or pitifully self-serving. These people are harmless but a solution to the rest of the world's problems? No-look at the size of their families. Look at the amount of land each family needs.

  • I was quite impressed with your objective look at the mennonites and Amish. It seems that the theme of nonviolence really took centerstage. I loved what you had to say about not being able to buy contentment, and yet it being visible in the faces of the non-consumer oriented Mennonites.

    You might be interested in doing research on the huge variety of Mennonites in the world. They are all over the place. Some have kept their traditional way of life, some have gone with the flow. Good job.
