Have you ever gotten really excited about starting a new home-based business either on the internet, in mlm, or direct sales only to discover that once you started, you didnt have an idea to market it or make it work?
Did someone actually tell you that they would help you to succeed and they ended up quitting the business altogether? Youre not alone. That happened to me too, which is one of the biggest reasons for my network marketing and internet marketing success.
Whether youve joined the network marketing industry to work from home full time, or whether its a part-time hobby, Im sure you joined to at least enjoy a little extra income on a regular base.
One of the most important things you should look for with any company you start is this. Do they have a solid marketing system. Does your upline have a real mentoring or training program in place? If either of those are lacking run as fast as you can and find one that does have those things in place.
With the home-based business that I work, I use internet marketing for the most part. If you are new to the work- from- home network marketing industry, you absolutely will only go as far as your own personal understanding of how it all works together. Do you have a marketing budget? If not does your company or upline have anything in place for you to get one? Are you with a company that constantly boasts about those that make high 6-figure incomes every month yet, forget about the little guy whos just starting out.
When youre getting started, there will be many things that you will have questions about. You may even wonder if you made a mistake by joining your company. The answer is absolutely not. The mistake only happens when you dont have the tools, resources, knowledge, or a mentor to help you so that you can succeed. When those components are missing, thats when people quit!
At the beginning, when you first join a business, is when your mentor or business partner should be lighting the way to your success. They have been down this road before you, and they know all about the emotional merry-go-round that you might sometimes experience. If your mentor disappears on you when it starts to get a little rough, you may not have chosen the right one.
For many upline leaders, its all about getting the next new sign-up and never about helping the ones who are already in. If youve had that experience, you know how it feels not good.
Successful network marketing teams will make sure that they have duplicable systems in place so that everyone who joins their team can access the same information. In some cases, its like having a teacher-student relationship. In others, its simply having systems that are made available to the student. Again any system that can be duplicated will work.
Keep in mind, if your mentor has not been successful himself, it would be unfair more like impossible to expect that they can mentor you to success.
One thing to understand is this. You business mentor is not responsible for your success; however, she is responsible to coach you to business success. A big part of your on internet success or making money from home will be determined by your willingness to be taught.
A good business mentor will always be willing to invest their time to help someone who is willing to invest theirs. If your leader gives you access to information that will teach you what to do, it is up to you to use that information to learn the process and contact your mentor for help when needed. If you mentor has a system where they use team calls, training webinars or websites, again, you want to plug in to them as quickly as possible. Ultimately, you should desire to become a business mentor to your organization as well. The faster you learn the systems, the faster your business will grow.

Please just tell us how to make money. I don't want to hear all the bullshit about "oh you'll love being your own boss, you really can work from home, etc. etc.". Please? How the hell are you making money. What site are you using? Do I sign up for some site, sign up for free offers, refer people, fill out forms, do listings for affiliate marketing scams. WTF is it?!

Right On Rosalind... I feel you completely. So many of my friends are so unhappy with their jobs. Even though they are employed and make decent money they hate it. But they feel they have no choice but to stay in the position. Of course I share with them the incredible opportunities they have.
