  • This seat was actually fiberglassed after the sealant dried. The previous seat was only a few years old and had rotted out. The new seat should last longer than the customer's desire to change the color again!

  • if you cut inside the plywood panels and remove triangle shaped sections it will create a tattice type frame of wood. Then staple felt to the wood (seams in the middle) and cover in fiberglass resin. Scrape of all excess resin to reduce weight of finished product. Now you may complete as desired and you will have a light, strong, water tight sub structure that will last the life of the boat.
