@MrAmericanrebel Oops, meant to type CJ2.

@MrAmericanrebel A variety, but an SR22. I've flown into 3w2 once on a hot day, and while it wasn't bad, if I was over by 5 knots, my brakes would have gotten a workout. Now, the SJ2 I fly right seat in might have a bit more difficulty getting in there.
Overall though, good landing. As for the monument, it could go either way. You were in landing configuration, but the remark clearly states "ACFT LNDG RY 21 OR DEP RY 03 STAY 1000 FT CLEAR OF PERRY'S MONUMENT" BUT, you looked 1000ft to me! :)

The pilot landed to early.

@vidman520 To begin, I would suggest replacing "to" with "too". Second, if you were to inspect the video closely, the actual touchdown point is indeed on the primary landing surface. As for tblaz12, flight rules can be found in CFR Title 14, commonly known of as the F.A.R.'s (Federal Aviation Regulations) and not the Airport Facility Directory. § 91.119 involves minimum safe altitudes: General.

@MrAmericanrebel The section starts as quoted : "Except when necessary for takeoff or landing, no person may operate an aircraft below the following altitudes:" Please note the opening sentence of the section. As the above video clearly shows, the aircraft is in a position to land.

If any more Microsoft Flight Sim junkies and/or individuals deriving their aviation knowledge from the evening news have questions regarding the legality of this maneuver, please post them here so I can rebut the remark in a timely fashion. Thank you for your patience.
