Yes u are right that the government is corrupt, so why should we let them anywhere NEAR our economy?

We need more capitalism, which means the government will be smaller and keep its corrupting hands off of the big banks and companies in Canada.

So many people have been brainwashed into believing that what we have now is capitalism, what we have now is CORRUPTED capitalism because we have let the SOCIALIST idea of gov intervention into the market corrupt our free market and now we have this mess.

The Canadian government is so corrupt, and they learned it from USA. Before Stephen Harper the Canadian government was paying off the national debt at a rate of 5 billion a year. We need over spend 50 billion a year.

It seems like people don't understand what capitalism and socialism is, when u talk bout big banks taking all the peoples money, they can only do that because the government is involved and they have bought out the government, and government involvement in the economy is a socialist idea.

Both Canada and the US are in these bad economic situations because of poor decisions by the government to bailout and subsidize the big banks and companies, we need CAPITALISM to make the market fair again.

thejaywar has the right message just describing it wrong... These big companies in the last 4-5 years have started to come and do the "wall street way" and begun to take all canada's money, we had 2-3 trillion dollars 5(maybe) years ago, not we are 1 trillion in debt, and we have CUT MILITARY spending and goverment and we have MORE JOBS, it's these companies getting funded from the 5 central bankes of canada! look up the big 5 banks of canada!

What are you smoking! Obama and Romney are funded by big banks. Ron Paul is funded by everyday citizens. He wants to end the wars...the ones that corporations make billions from. Did Fox News tell you this...?

Ummmm. Jack Layton was a great guy. But he was no Ron Paul. Actually if you take the most extreme "liberal" opposite of Ron Paul, you would have Layton.
