i was at the beach and had to fly home early cause my grandfather was dying,he died that nite but i made it in time,i listened to under the bridge on the flights home as the only song,then after he died i cried cried and cried, i listen to this song on the way home from his funeral in senic wv and when i fell like crying i listen to this song thank you john

Can't you hear it? It is clearly Johns voice listen to it at 0:28, he has a really wide vocal range. And listen to him singing "Maybe" at Slane Castle. He actually has a greaat singing voice,but he never got to polish it. And he did destroy it with drugs and cigarettes,but I still find his singing amazing.

I remember when my grandfather passed away, I sat in my room crying my eyes out listening to this song. But it gave me hope, especially the line; "What's gone will never come back, but it exists when you think of it." I'm always thinking of my Nonno so he'll always be with me!

John's music has changed my life and I urge everyone out there to listen to his work, because you haven't heard real music until you've heard John Frusciante.
