I think todays version would be doable we have had shows like The O.C and One Tree Hill and gossip girl and Dirty Sexy Money and desperate housewives, basically just rip off and steal every plot from Dynasty and Dallas. bring it back!!!

@MrJeffreydunson Thomas Gibson ("Dharma and Greg" & "Criminal Minds") could play Patrick. Background on Patrick. Georgetown educated. Reserve Navy Officer. Vice President of Gov't Affairs for Denver Carrington. Had his name legally changed to Patrick Carrington Jennings. Revealed himself after "Dynasty the Reunion". DNA Test proved his claim. He and Leslie have two children - Patrick, Jr. (born in 1993) and Emily Krystina (born in 1995).

@30dizzy34 Your storyline sounds very interesting, and juicy for today's headlines. Hollywood has a lot of new fresh faces to pull off a new classy & well-written TV production that quite, frankly, the viewing audience has been lacking for about a decade and a half !!! I mean when was the last time that any of us has seen a well dressed lady covered in furs and jewels?!! or like some of our well-known actors/actresses in high powered TV dramas ?!! @MrJeffreydunson Another plot idea. Bring Terri Garber back as Leslie Carrington. Have her married to Patrick Jennings, the son Krystle never knew she had. Patrick would be the innocent pawn in a baby switching scheme perpetrated by Krystle's brother-in-law Frank Dean as a way to replace the son that he and Krystle's sister, Iris actually lost. So, the son that Krystle and Mark thought was dead is, in fact, alive. It's Iris and Frank's son that was stillborn.

Almost all of the Dynasty The Next Generation openings have Hayden Panettiere as Krystina.....she's all wrong for the part.....she's not the right age.....way too young. When the original was cancelled, Krystina was of school age. Hayden Panettiere hadn't even been born yet. In soaps, you generally age accellerate the characters forward not backwords. Marcy Rylan would have been way better as Krystina. She is the right age. R.I.P, John Forsythe. We'll miss you.

The current money& credit problems as a plot and the Carrington's Bank, etc.... it could work !!! Plus who's going to prison ?, and who'll take over the family empire ensuing battle ?!!!
