Hindi pa po kasi isyu ang political correctness ng panahong ginawa ni Luis Nepomuceno ang pelikulang ito. Masasabing exploitative ang pelikula, hindi lang sa kulturang Igorot, kundi sa walang wawang pagpapakita ng kahubaran sa pelikula. Mababaw at matabang ang treatment. Katunayan nga, ginawang pang-akit ng producers ng pelikula ang paghuhubad ni Charito Solis para kumita ang pelikula.

kung gagawa ng pelikula tungkol sa pre hispanic era like ke lapu lapu or mga babaylan... sana ganto sila ka open para realistic. d tulad ngayon e kunn d p nirape e d ipapakita ang top. db talaga nmn topless ang mga babae nung araw.. ang mga kastila lang ang nagbigay ng malisya.. alisin n ang kaisipang kolonyal.. hindi makapilipino pag sinabing bastos ang pagkakatopless nila s mga gagawing pelikula..ipakita ang tunay n pagkakatutubo!!

they made the film out of their imagination.. no facts.. they didn't consult the people concerned, that is direspect... they degraded the name igorota, while the name to it's owner is honorable.
