Concordia Conservatory's Play-a-thon on April 2nd, 2010.
One of my more aggressive compositions, It was written in a fit of frustration when I couldn't find any suitable ideas to put to paper. So I did my usual "random note writing" for the first few bars and showed to my composition teacher. It sounded great and so many ideas flowed these 6 or 7 introductory bars that the Toccata formed itself in less than 3 weeks. At the time, I was writing A Piano Sonata, and this "Toccata" became the 3rd movement. That early "Toccata" was Performed on May 27, 2010.
