  • It's so good to see people interested in saving the Earth (and money too) you might want to flush your engine out with diesel every 4 or so tank loads because wvo can clog up an engine if not routinely flushed

  • Thanks! Actually, Elbee is painstakingly designed to flush the system with diesel fuel every time I use it. It is a Hybrid system that starts and stops on Diesel. She uses WVO only when the engine and the fuel have been heated to 170 F. Same as my car I did previously. It is the best, but most complicated and expensive way to run WVO. Take care, SA

  • That looks like such a pain in the ass. Why would anyone in their right mind, ever want to go from fast food joint to fast food joint, begging incompetent assistant managers for used oil. My god.... and what if another guy in the neighborhood needs it to? and the next guy? It wont be long before that oil is $5 a gallon, and its back to the drawing board.

  • You are absolutely right crjb78. These points you raise and more, are all true and were considered in detail when we debated spending all that money, effort and three months on a bus with the family of five for the pursuit of crazy, family dream.

I guess I should have stayed home and watched TV like everyone else.

Maybe I should just sell Elbee to one of those new, Chinese or European millionaires.

Let's open a can of that European owned Budweiser Beer. Where is that darned remote control?

  • Good for you, I have gone with making my own biodiesel for my 1986 wanderlodge 300 gal tank & 330 tank on the trailer and gem electric car safe travels

  • Wow, that is cool!

I figured that running pure WVO would be easier than having to convert WVO to Biodiesel when on the road. Do you have any postings to your bus? I would love to see it? Steve

  • Wonderful setup, but I'd stay away from any pit stop that handles fried meats besides the yuck vegetable based the best.

  • Great job! Gas stations and rest stops that have fast food restauranuts could sell their wvo for a profit at fuel pumps rather than just throwing it out! It will certainly make trucking cost signifigantly lower. Did it originally come with a diesel motor or did you swap one in?

  • "Shhh, Kid were talkin' " !

  • Hey Steve ... any chance I could email with you?

  • You got it figured out Steve !! Leave crjb78 alone ... he's clueless. Enjoyed the quick trip with your family. GOOD JOB DAD !!

  • erm, to put it simply, DON"T GO TO FAST FOOD JOINTS INT THE EFFING FIRST PLACE!!!

instead, go to a Mexican or Chinese, Japanese restaurant, better oil and it's not going to be full of shit like the stuff in this video.

  • You're completely missing the point. He's reaping the fuel while it is absolutely free.
