Parents object to closing Doral Middle School

Miami-Dade School officials quickly lost control of a meeting Monday March 21 in which they were expected to provide information about the planned closing of Doral Middle School. An overwhelming majority of the parents at the school as well as the other four schools in the city's pattern that are affected by the proposed changes are opposed to the recommendations made by the school board's attendance boundary committee, they say, to alleviate overcrowding. In this short clip, Graciela Boria, who is the wife of a Doral councilman, is escorted from the school cafeteria at the request of Region I officials.
